A decade of perseverance and hard work can bring about a transformational CHANGE. In 10 years, a PPES girl has been emboldened to make her own decisions. One of those decisions is to continue her higher studies AGAINST ALL ODDS. A PPES girl does not need to rely only on a creating handcraft items to earn an income. She has a CHOICE. Once she graduates grade 10, the PPES girl will be trained into taking up higher studies in her desired field. 

Want to volunteer or intern at a school in India?

PPES provides opportunity to students to volunteer and intern. In March 2011, PPES hosted two back-to-back excursions for the Mc Donough Public and the Derryfield Public School in Anupshahr, India. The girls at PPES were more than glad to take their new friends around their school. Activities were planned beforehand like playing a local sport, creating art, and dance. The experience of visiting the surrounding villages and people living there were special moments the volunteers took back with them to the United States.
